  • Phosphatidylcholine in the presence of vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) is converted into acetylcholine (ACC), one of the most common neurotransmitters in the body.
  • Acetylcholine improves human brain activity, increases performance, and promotes the formation and preservation of memory. Decreased acetylcholine production leads to memory impairment and decreased mental alertness and mental activity, especially under stressful conditions.
  • Lecithin is an essential substance for the nervous system and is a major component in the formation of myelin. A lack of lecithin leads to damage to the myelin sheath of the nerves, which is observed in multiple sclerosis and other severe neurological diseases. By nourishing the fatty sheaths that cover nerve fibers, taking lecithin leads to remission in multiple sclerosis, a disease associated with damage to the myelin sheaths.
