Evening primrose oil is rich in essential fatty acids - in particular, it contains linoleic acid (LA) and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), i.e. compounds belonging to the group of polyunsaturated omega-6 acids. The intake of unsaturated fatty acids into the body is very important in many cases, especially in women's nutrition. Linoleic acid (LA) helps maintain proper cholesterol levels in the blood. Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) is an omega-6 fatty acid found in vegetable oils.
