Omega-6 fatty acids are compounds that belong to the group of essential fatty acids and are part of cell membranes. OstroVit Omega 3-6-9 dietary supplement uses linoleic acid (LA), which is found primarily in vegetable oils such as sunflower, canola and grape seed oil.

Omega-9 fatty acids are unsaturated fats, of which oleic acid (OA) is a representative (used in OstroVit). The main dietary source of this compound is olive oil, but oleic acid is also found in canola oil, hazelnut oil, sunflower seed oil and flaxseed oil.

Vitamin E is a group of organic chemical compounds that belong to fat-soluble vitamins, the most biologically active of which is D-alpha tocopherol.
